From Testing and Verification to Batch Trust: Estun and Partners Jointly Expand the Application Path of Domestic Robots
In the field of instrument and meter automated assembly, a partner company in Tianjin possesses years of technical expertise and industry experience. Looking back to the beginning of the collaboration, the adoption rate of robots in domestic automated production lines was still relatively low, and customers generally placed greater trust in imported brands. As market conditions evolved, particularly with factors such as rising chip prices, customers began shifting from traditional "Big Four" robot brands to more cost-effective second-tier imported brands. However, during the pandemic, the demand for automation rapidly increased, with the number of robots used per production line gradually rising to 40–50 units. The shortcomings of imported robots in areas such as after-sales response, spare parts supply, and maintenance costs became increasingly apparent.

Meanwhile, domestic robots continuously made breakthroughs in quality and performance, prompting the partner to begin collaborating with several domestic robot brands. However, in practical applications, these brands encountered varying degrees of quality issues, disrupting production stability. Against this backdrop, the partner introduced four Estun robots for testing for the first time. After a period of actual operation, Estun robots demonstrated excellent stability, free from the common issues previously observed in domestic robots, with reliability comparable to that of imported brands. Based on the favorable test results, the partner gradually expanded the application scale of Estun robots in subsequent projects, with annual usage exceeding 100 units in the same year. End customers’ recognition of Estun products steadily increased, laying a solid foundation for deeper cooperation between the two parties.
As the collaboration grew closer, the partner visited Estun's headquarters, where the two sides found a high degree of alignment in corporate culture, technical philosophy, and development vision, further enhancing mutual trust. Subsequently, the partner officially became Estun’s channel partner, working together to promote the implementation of automated solutions in broader fields.

In 2025, the partner designed and delivered a highly automated production line for an instrument and meter customer, incorporating over 50 Estun robotic arms of various models. This production line achieved an automation rate of over 90%, increasing the customer’s output by 56% and reducing labor input by 60%, making it a benchmark case for this type of production line in China. During the debugging and trial operation phases, the production line hosted numerous visits from domestic and international customers. Notably, after an inspection, the German shareholder of the enterprise remarked that similar automated production lines had not yet been realized in Germany even after three years, while the partner completed the entire process from design to delivery in just one year. They praised the partner’s technical capabilities and expressed full recognition of domestic robot brands represented by Estun. This collaboration created opportunities for the partner’s related smart production lines to enter the European market, while Estun’s product performance and global service network provided strong support for the company’s "going global" strategy.
In terms of technical capacity building, the partner currently employs 18 professionals proficient in robotic arm programming and debugging. With Estun’s support, employees are continuously selected to participate in intermediate and advanced technical training programs in Nanjing, steadily enhancing the team’s professional level and providing a solid foundation for channel sales and project delivery.

After-sales service is a critical aspect of testing partnership quality. In October 2025, a robotic arm at the partner’s operation site encountered an unexpected issue. The high level of coordination and rapid response demonstrated by Estun and its partner became key to ensuring production and deepening trust. The partner decisively dispatched their own equipment of the same model to the customer’s site and immediately collaborated with Estun’s after-sales team to develop a repair plan. Estun quickly checked spare parts inventory and dispatched two engineers with the required parts to the site overnight. From arrival to completion, the repair took only one hour, significantly minimizing the customer’s downtime losses. Such an efficient and coordinated response mechanism was rarely seen in previous collaborations with other brands.
In pre-sales support, the partner’s technical personnel, through Estun’s training, have become proficient in using simulation software and load assessment tools to provide customers with professional selection guidance. In the after-sales phase, for customers using Estun robots for the first time, the team offers free on-site training and programming guidance, including demonstration of program examples, instruction explanations, and safety protocol overviews. These efforts have repeatedly garnered positive feedback from customers regarding service quality and the engineers’ sense of responsibility.

After long-term project collaboration and daily cooperation, Estun and the partner have established a cooperative system built on a technical foundation, supported by service, and guided by customer value. Both sides will continue to leverage the performance improvements and ecosystem development of domestic robots to jointly contribute to the expansion of China’s intelligent equipment and automated solutions into broader markets.
